Psalms 25:4-5 RecVer
4. Make Your ways known to me, O Jehovah; Teach me Your paths.
5. Guide me in Your truth, and teach me; For You are the God of my salvation; I wait on You all the day long.
Psalms 25:12-14 RecVer
12. Who then is the man who fears Jehovah? Him will He instruct concerning the way that he should choose.
13. His soul will dwell in prosperity, And his seed will possess the land.
14. The intimate counsel of Jehovah is to those who fear Him, And His covenant will He make known to them.
Psalms 32:8 RecVer
I will instruct you and teach you concerning the way you should go; I will counsel you; my eye is upon you.
These days, the Lord has burdened me and confirmed, time and again, that a Christian need to have a strong, sweet, stable, intimate, personal, and private relationship with Him. One's relationship as a Christian with the Lord Jesus Christ determines the standard of his Christian life. Void of this, or merely a shallow-namesake Christian, will not warrant a good Christian testimony. Many issues in life and how they have been handled, all depends of the degree of one's relationship with the Lord Jesus. No wonder, many Christians have fallen short of the normal Christian life due to the sole reason that their relationship with Jesus does not go beyond their spirit. Jesus as the life-giving Spirit is silently locked up in their spirit, giving no room to spread to their soul, much less, their physical living.
Therefore, with this one strong burden from the Lord, first, I myself strengthened my personal time with the Lord. In fact, these days, my time with the Lord has gone to another level. I have moved on from merely praying all my prayer burdens to actually and intimately fellowshipping with Him as friend with friend. I talked to Him and listen to His response in my spirit. Lately, I was corrected in two matters. One case was related to learning Christ rather than from the current affairs and people making the news. Another was, changing my proposal of visiting a new city as a church during the upcoming holidays to simply gathering together to simply read the word of God.
Second, I have started releasing this burden of spending time with the Lord daily for a strong, sweet, and stable personal relationship with Him daily to all the saints in the church and especially to the brothers I am in coordination. I have seen so clearly and have been convinced so deeply that this is the root of a Christian life. What comes out of a Christian life depends on the health of the root system. With my own testimony and relevant Bible verses, I have released and trumpeted my burden again and again.
Clubbed with this personal prayer time, I also released the need for reading the Bible daily. I even encouraged all the saints that this year, everyone should be reading through the entire Bible at least once. Facts, principles, and promises in the Bible must be made very clear to all the saints. And based on the knowledge of the basics of the Bible, can one discern what the will of the Lord is, in many issues pertaining to one's daily living faced with multiple issues and challenges.
The last few Lord’s Days, I have released this particular burden. I do believe, the Lord has honored this burden as I observe many saints becoming more serious in the way they live their Christian lives and in the way they take decisions.
By the way, the Lord also confirmed this burden when we, as a church, pursued a message on seeking God's will on our Tuesday night small group meeting. Five young brothers gave an overview, and the same burden was released by three of these brothers on the Lord’s Day morning. Then, I further strengthened the burden on seeking God's will.
May the Lord bless His saints and His church that we could all be actively bearing His testimony, in oneness with Him, expressing and representing Him corporately as His church here in Gurugram as we do His good will.
