Gospel Trips : Gospel Tract

Last Tuesday night I was in a hurry to board my train that leaves at 10 PM from Central Station, Chennai. I had shceduled my time accordingly as I had the burden to meet two families that are dear to me, in the Lord. On visiting the two families, the flow of life was so strong that I almost forgot how time ticked away so speedily. However, I was still on time to board a local train that would lead me to the main central station. 

Surprisingly, there was a long queue for buying a ticket. Though I was in a hurry, I just could not break the rule and bypassed the queue. I had to patiently wait for my turn, and when I did get the ticket, the train was unduely delayed. Going by schedule, I would not make it on time at all, as it takes an hour or so from the local Tambaram station to Park station. By factual calculation, there was no chance for me to be on time. Nevertheless, I ceased to panick and was not at guilt for not allotting more time with all these guestimated delay. But deep within me I knew, the Lord had a purpose.

I still boarded the train, and lo and behold, there was a boy sitting next to me. On introduction, I found out he was an Engineer and a Muslim by religion. We had a good friendly talk and I testified to him about the true and living God who is Love, Light and Life to be man's love, light and life, the Lord Jesus Christ, basically from the tract I had written to reach out to people for the gospel of the kingdom of God. Later to experience the love of God, be under the shining of the divine light and to receive the divine life, he prayed with me to receive the Lord in the midst of the crowed local train. Then I encouraged him to turn to the Lord Jesus Christ in every situation and experience the true and living God daily.

Later, when I reach the Central station, as guestimated, I missed the train to New Delhi and I had to wait for another day. But I still believed the Lord had a better plan, and He did. And the next day, I got to meet one more gospel friend who is a Hindu by religion of the Brahmin caste, a dear friend, who also received the Lord Jesus Christ as we were on a car towards a site-visit to a real estate site in Kanchipuram. The gospel message was the same, of Love, Light and Love, and the way to practically experience and enjoy the Lord. This friend too received the Lord by praying in the Name of the Lord of Jesus Christ in a car. It was meant to be an official trip, and it still was, but much more, a wonderful gospel trip with a gospel tract message.

In both cases, it was an experience like the Lord meeting different people for their salvation. These were not planned by me at all, but the Lord arranged it through circumstances. Looking back I had no regret at all, instead thanked the Lord for re-sceduling my plan for the salvation of these dear ones, an Engineer and an MBA Executive. What a gospel trip indeed with a gospel message on the gospel tract the Lord led me to write!
